Work:
A passionate engineer and IT security nerd with a knack for people. I'm currently based in Hamburg. I've been working in renewable energy in Germany, Canada, Romania, and England since 2008.
I've worked in engineering, project management, and now product ownership / business architecture for information management systems with an emphasis on cybersecurity, reliability, and bringing in new technologies to make our work more efficient. For my professional history, check out my linkedin profile.
Talks:
Over the past few years identity and access management / SSO has become one of my favourite topics. I've given talks about some of what I've learned called "A beginner's guide to Single Sign-On (mis)configuration" (or OMG WTF SSO) at a few places:
- Elbsides 2023 (the Hamburg B-Sides conference)
- OWASP Hamburg Stammtisch in February 2024 (no recording)
- Electromagnetic Field Camp 2024
- SRECon EMEA 2024
- Chaos Communication Congress 38c3
